We worked with Michelle twice - the first time to find a rental house in a tight time frame and the second time was to buy our house. We had a great experience both times. Michelle really listened to us to find what we were looking for and was very open and honest about the pros and cons of every place we went to look at. She was always easy to get a hold of and readily available to look at places. She still keeps in touch with us, a year out, just to see how we are doing and if there is anything else she can help us with. All in all, she was so easy and FUN to work with! When we first started thinking about buying a house, we smugly thought we would not need a buyer's agent. "We can do it all ourselves!" we said. HAH! Very quickly we realized what a silly thought that was, and the next day we were referred to Michelle Meyer. I remember our friend saying "You're going to love her, she's so down to earth and patient..." Well, he was so right! Michelle could very well be the most patient person I've ever dealt with. We were very picky about what we were looking for, and she very calmly and very professionally handled all my "Nope, let's go's" when the very outside of a house was not what I wanted. When my husband and I moved to the area from Maryland, our dearest friends said they already knew a great real estate agent. Armed with only a price range, Michelle put together a printout of several homes for us to look at and she even had room in her vehicle for our friends to tag along too! Each home we stopped at, Michelle asked us questions about what we liked and did not care for and I noticed that after only a couple of homes, we would arrive at our next house and she would say things like "Now, I know you would prefer a fenced in yard, but I think this home is worth looking at anyway". She also knew the area so well, she always kept in mind how long it would take for us to drive to our friends or to a grocery store and when my husband requested to see a home that was pretty far from where we agreed to live, Michelle didn't blink and drove us out to see the home. Both of us now think home buying is easy, not only did she find us our perfect home, recommend financing contacts, home inspectors and explained the process for signing a contract, she kept us up to date and informed about every step.
