Meet Michelle

Thanks so much for visiting my blog! This was the hardest section for me to create because I don’t like talking about myself or “tooting my own horn.” Choosing a Realtor is one of the most important decisions you’ll make. You want to work with someone you trust who you feel will work tirelessly for you and always look out for your best interests. Hopefully when you checked out my “fan mail” you saw that this is the type of Realtor I am.

So you get a feel for who I am…….I was born in Athens, Greece and lived overseas until I was 14. Both of my parents worked for the Federal Government so we moved every 2-3 years. I was extremely shy as a child so this was very hard for me. We moved to Northern Virginia so that I could go to an American high school. I graduated from Virginia Tech with a Marketing Degree and am still a VERY proud Hokie! I moved to Colorado for a year and then moved to the Triangle area and have lived here for over 24 years. I absolutely love this area and can’t imagine living anywhere else!

I have been married to Gene for over 24 years and we have 2 amazing children. All 4 of us are huge Hurricanes hockey fans. Ashley is 19 and Nicholas is 17. We have come up through the year-round & traditional schools so I understand them very well. We are at the stage of life where we spend a lot of time running from activity to activity but I wouldn’t have it any other way. They are the lights of my life! Ashley is a Sophomore at UNC-Wilmington double majoring in International Business & French. Nicholas plays soccer and is currently working on his Eagle with Boy Scouts. In my spare time (Ha!) I like to scrapbook. Unfortunately I never got to know any of my relatives because of living overseas so I am a sentimental fool and want to document everything.

So hopefully this gives you a sense of who I am as a person. The older I get, the more I appreciate my childhood and what my parents went through moving our family across the world every 2 years. I’ve also had to move my own family through the years so I think I’m a more compassionate Realtor because of this. I know how hard (and exciting) it is for families when they are buying or selling a home. I want to make it as stress-free as possible for you! My mom laughs now about my shyness. She says I could keep a conversation going with a paper bag! I absolutely love what I do! It is so rewarding on so many levels.
